I never knew Casper, Wyoming belonged on my bucket list until I took a trip there, but I’m telling you now to add it to yours! Especially, if you have a family. We had so much fun and made such incredible memories with our little crew. It was the most magical kick off to the Christmas season complete with festive activities. Day 1: Direct flight from the SLC airport to Casper, Wyoming! This was honestly the biggest part of the reason we went to Casper. When traveling with kiddos, a quick, direct flight is the easiest and safest option for us. With overall less travel time, there’s less risk of catching bugs during cold and flu season. I was also super impressed with how many sanitizer stations I saw at every stop on our Casper itinerary. This year I was determined to not let Fathers Day sneak up on me, so I planned ahead and made sure I got some ideas ready for you guys too. I’ve got you covered with Walmart! I know the struggle of finding something the guys in your life will love and actually use, so I picked really fun and practical items they are sure to love. Whether he is a golfer, car lover, or enjoys spending time outdoors, you can find everything you need to make his day special at Walmart. I got Roman this beginner Pickleball set, complete with two paddles and balls. We’ve loved learning the sport over the last year, and now that we discovered courts close to our house, we’re excited to keep learning and playing. I love that it’s something we can do together outside, and also get some exercise in a fun way! This set is also a great price point at under $20. I am so excited to show you all what we have been working on the past few months! Decorating hasn’t ever been my biggest strength, mostly because I am SO PICKY and still figuring out my style, but I am so happy with how baby #2’s nursery turned out. I was going for warm, cozy, and neutral and I think we nailed it. Now we just need him to make his arrival so we can put it to use! While we were shooting, Roman and Kai came home so they jumped in a few shots too! So happy we got to document the last of our little family of 3. My heart could explode with love for these boys! Say hello to the Valenzuela family, 2019 edition! These photos were super last minute, and thanks to our angel friend and photographer Brittany, turned out so fun! Getting family pictures gets harder and harder as Kai gets older, but I love how you can see his personality shining through in them. He is constantly smiling and running around. His little laugh is infectious and theres nothing I love more than watching those curls bounce around! So since blog posts are few and far between these days, I thought I would do a little life update with each member of our family. Let’s do it! Kai- Just turned 3 in June and is all things BOY. He constantly begs to be out digging in the dirt, playing in the hose, or a really messy combination of both! His speech has improved immensely and we are so proud of how hard he works at therapy sessions. We just singed him up for T-Ball in the Fall and are SOOO excited to watch him! Just one more month of Summer then this sweet boy is off to his second year of preschool. So far this Summer he’s been loving our mini road trips to St. George, Lake Powell, and Lagoon! He even got to stay in Grandma and Grandpa’s new motorhome and thought

What. A. Year! 2018 was one I’ll remember forever. It was filled with a lot of happy moments, and quite a few sad ones as well. But without rain there would be no rainbows right? This year taught me a lot of life lessons and I feel like I did a lot more adulting than ever before. I’m so grateful for the memories that 2018 brought me, but I’m so excited for a new year with new goals! Without further ado, here is what my year looked like; month by month. PS- A lot of my photos wouldn’t upload for some reason (sad face) so if it seems like there are some holes, it’s because there are. Technical difficulties, sorry ’bout it. January- This month was full of lot’s of firsts. 2018 started by Ringing in the New Year on the dance floor with my hubs! It was the first time we had ever gone out for New Years Eve and we had a blast. You might not know this but my husband is quite the dancer. He is usually the one dragging me out for a song! I also went on my first mule ride, and attended my first boxing match. It was a really fun-filled month. February- Arguably one of my favorite months (career wise) of the year!
