It’s OFFICIALLY the first day of Summer and I couldn’t be more excited! It was a long and cold Winter here in Utah, so finally seeing the sun start to shine has everyone smiling. I put away all of my sweaters and boots for the season and started working on my Summer wardrobe. So far it’s including a lot of bare shoulders, like this yellow sundress, and I’m loving it. And do you want to know where I’ve done most of my recent shopping?! WAL-MART! It’s no surprise that Wal-Mart fashion is all the rage right now! Everywhere I look on social media, I see another amazing Wal-Mart find. The best part? THE PRICES! Wal-Mart is a one stop shop for summer wardrobe essentials and it’s so budget friendly. This whole outfit (dress, shoes, bag and earrings) is less than $100 and perfect for so many occasions this season. From weddings, to baby showers, and even brunching with the girls, this flirty little number is ideal for an effortless Summer look. It comes in a few other colors too and they are all SO cute. Changing the Game with Lightbox Jewelry I am so excited to introduce you to my new sparkling jewelry obsession, Lightbox lab-grown diamonds. As you can spot it on me, these lab-grown diamonds were developed by a team of scientists (with over 30 years of research and development experience I might add). Did you know that lab-grown diamonds were a thing?! Well, neither did I but it’s such a cool process. Let me tell you how it works: First, they put a tiny piece of a lab-grown diamond into a plasma reactor. Next, they heat the plasma to over 6000 degrees Fahrenheit. HOLY HOT! Then, the jewel will start to grow! After about 400 hours into the process, the stones are big enough to cut. The longer the diamond sits in the hot plasma, the bigger it grows. Lightbox scientists can also toy with the chemistry, time and temperature to make each jewel either white, blue, or pink. Cool huh?! They’re even working on creating more colors to add to the mix. Good morning friends! I’m so excited to be apart of My Sisters Closet Boutique’s dress week today! If you saw my Instagram Stories last Friday, than you know they just opened up a new location in Draper, Utah. It is seriously GORGEOUS you guys! I got to preview the store, do some shopping with my favorite blogger babes, and have way too much fun! I chose to style this plaid dress because it gave me major Blair Waldorf vibes. We could all use a little more Blair in our lives right?! It also has so much potential for layering. I added my favorite cardigan and leopard belt for a little pattern mixing and love how it turned out. In my opinion, the more layers the better! This dress would also be perfect for more casual Holiday parties this year. You can’t go wrong! Give me all the cozy, stretchy clothes this season please. Comfort should never have to be sacrificed for an outfit. Functional fashion is a must, especially when you are a mama like me!! I get asked all the time about these OTK boots and I soo wish I could find them online but I’ve worn them so much, the brand has worn off on the inside. The rust tassel necklace is the PERFECT color for Fall and the black gem choker goes with so much. I actually ended up wearing it in our family pictures because I love it so much.
