Thank you to GHD for sponsoring this post, all opinions are my own. I have been straightening my hair for about 20 years give or take so you can imagine all the things I’ve tried over the years to get the perfect look, and GHD’s New Original Styler is the BEST I’ve tried so far! I know those are big words, and I genuinely mean them! I was able to sit down with the lovely head of education at GHD and she taught me everything there is to know about this tool so we can all had a Good Hair Day, that’s what DHD stands for, cute huh?! First, 365 is the magic number. GHD products are sleek, simple, and come with one button that when pressed, heats up your styler to 365 degrees in 30 seconds and holds the temperature until the automatic shut off at 30 minutes! Why 365 degrees? They discovered that any hotter damaged the hair, and lower just wasn’t enough to get the job done without having to keep going over the same piece multiple times. Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post, all opinions are my own. As my due date is getting closer and closer, I’ve purchased a few items from Nordstrom to help me get through from now through the 4th trimester. I was so excited to find this black founded brand called Ebi that focuses on mamas. Kudos to Nordstrom by the way for carrying more and more black owned and operated brands, I can’t wait to keep shopping them. I have been using the Ebi Oil on my belly every night to help soothe the itching as my stomach stretches to accommodate baby Valenzuela! It is all natural and really hydrating. The best part, it doesn’t have a strong smell. My nose is extra sensitive in pregnancy so even if the smell isn’t necessarily bad, sometimes it’s still overwhelming. I also picked up the postpartum bath soak, and herbal tea. The soak will help my body with the healing process, and tea to balance milk supply and overall wellbeing. I’ll definitely report back on how I like them both! Other beauty items from my daily routine: I also wanted to be sure to include my other favorite beauty items I use regularly. Some are new, and others are tried and true favorites I’ve kept purchasing over the years! New: Sigma

Top 12 Beauty Products of 2019! #12 Makeup Removing Cloths– If you’re looking to produce less waste, this is a great place to start. Use in place of disposable makeup removing wipes! I love this for home, but still use disposable for travel. #11 Makeup Brush Cleaner– One of my favorite Amazon finds EVER! Washing my makeup brushes is always such a chore, but this actually makes it kind of fun. I also love that it drys them as well so you don’t have to wait for them to air-dry. #10 Lumify Eye Drops– A game changer, especially if you take a lot of photos. A model friend of mind was using them at a shoot, so I tried them out and WOW. I’ve never seen eyedrops work so well and so fast. Highly recommend! #9 Moroccan Oil– A product I’ve used for 15+ years and swear by! I use it as a heat protectant and frizz tamer. #8 Aquaphor– A little miracle in a jar! I started using this after Kai was born for his eczema, but now I use it as a moisturizer for myself too!
