A few weeks ago I got to travel to The Tryall Club in Jamaica with the incredible Draper James team and my new blogger besties Sarah, Sydney, and Steph! We went to shoot their new collection, (it launched yesterday!) and experience the amazing amenities the Tryall Club offers. To say this whole trip was a dream come true would be a huge understatement. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to go! I also have to thank my amazing support system at home because there’s no way I could have made it work without help from my mom, and the best husband holding down the fort. I am the luckiest to have them!
Let me give you a little info on these two amazing brands that teamed up to create pure magic! First up: Draper James. This incredible clothing company was founded by Reese Witherspoon and each piece is so classy and feminine. Every dress I wore on the trip made me feel beautiful, elegant, and confident. Even though every item in her collection is stunning, they are still realistic and comfortable for everyday life! I was so impressed with the quality and overall fit of each collection. Now let’s chat about The Tryall Club. I can honestly say I have never experienced luxury like this before! The 92 privately owned villas sit on 2,200 lush acres of Jamaican paradise. Each villa is fully staffed with house keeping, a private, chef and butler to make sure your stay is exceptional. Our specific villa “Create Abundance” was FULL of amazing amenities. With 10 bedrooms, 5 golf carts to use, and a gorgeous infinity pool it is one of the largest villa’son property! Everyone working at the villa was so kind and happy to help with whatever we needed. There is nothing more inviting than Jamaican hospitality! I can’t wait to come back someday and bring my family. Here are a few photos I took in some of the villa’s, and around the grounds. They don’t even come close to doing the beauty of The Tryall Club justice, but it gives you a little taste!
On our last full day, the amazing Tryall Club PR company rep Emily planned for Sarah and I to go horse back riding together at the Chukka Ranch! Although I’ve been on a horse before, I’ve never actually done a guided tour before. It was so fun to hear about the history of the property, and learn more about Jamaican culture from the staff. We also got the ride the horses through the ocean and that was one of the COOLEST things I’ve ever done! Definitely something I never knew I needed on my bucket list, but now I’m telling you to add it to yours. The animals here are treated so well which is a big deal for me. I was very impressed with the conditions, how gentle the staff is with the horses, and how healthy they look. Would absolutely recommend if you ever find yourself in Jamaica! I found out about this trip pretty last minute, so it took every bit of courage I had to drop everything and go! I am a planner by nature and leaving the country on a whim was definitely not like me, but I’m SO glad I took the leap. Note to self- ALWAYS have a valid passport because you never know what opportunities will come your way! Thank you to The Tryall Club & Draper James for the incredible opportunity. It was the trip of a lifetime that I will never forget!
