It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale is finally live and things are ALREADY selling out. I should clarify that the sale is only open to card holders until the 20th when it’s goes live to the public, so if you don’t have a Nordstrom credit card, now is definitely the time to get one!
I actually wasn’t planning on doing a post on the sale, but when I saw all of the goodies included, I couldn’t just not show you all my faves. I set an alarm for 1am (when the sale began) and when I first logged on I couldn’t believe such high quality items were so discounted. This is the perfect time to stock up on Fall/Winter essentials and maybe a few new pieces to wear during the rest of Summer.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Most items in the sale will be fall/winter
The fashion world is always working a season ahead, so be prepared to see a lot of seasonal clothing. I know when it’s 100 degrees outside the thought of buying sweaters is a little gag worthy, but it will all be worth it come September when you’re closets all ready to go and you didn’t have to pay full price for any of it! (insert praise hands)
- A few big trends we’ll see this next season- metallics, satin, velvet (again) and leather.
