Hello my people! Hope you all are doing fabulous and crushing all of the things on your to-do list today! This cute little tassely dress is so fun right!? When I put it on my hubs told me I looked ready for Cinco De Mayo lol. But that’s a great holiday in my book so I wasn’t offended at all! I also wore it in to Trader Joes to grab some flowers before this shoot and a cute little older lady walking out stopped to come tell me how much she loved my dress. It seriously made my day! I’ve always been a huge fan of complimenting anyone you see no matter the circumstance. It will make them feel so good you went out of your way to say something nice to them. So don’t be afraid to spread the love wherever you go!
Okay let’s chat about Make Me Chic shall we! They contacted me months and months ago about a collab and I was thrilled to be working with such a reputable brand. So I picked the item I wanted and got the shipping confirmation then waited and waited for it to arrive… long story short it never came because apparently it didn’t make it past US customs lol. Since I always want to be open and honest with my readers I just wanted to lay that out on the table so you know that’s apparently a possibility if you ever order from them.
Anyway, I picked a different item (tassel dress) and it arrived in a few weeks, so the second time was the charm! You can’t really tell in the photos but the tassels are SUPER bright and so fun. There’s also tassels on the shoulders but my hair is kind of covering then up. I threw a slip on underneath it since it is a little see-through and it worked great. I can’t wait to wear it as a swim cover-up as well (summer, where you at) at the pool, beach, and lake! I’m wearing a Large and it runs true to size for me!
