Happy Monday loves, It’s the first day of Spring finally! Sorry I’ve been a bit MIA on the blog front lately. I took a little break last week to get my sick little man back to feeling 100%. So now that he’s all better, I’ve got tooooons of awesome content headed your way. YAY! Now let’s talk about this perfect jumpsuit!
Oh Target, you’ve done it again! This jumpsuit is literally EVERYTHING. I mean, it has pockets you guys! When I saw fellow fashion blogger Christine of Moxie Fashion Blog rocking this baby in royal blue on her Insta stories, I basically ran to my nearest Target to find it. And you guys, it did not disappoint. I love that I don’t have anything like it in my closet already. I am a creature of habit (HUGE understatement) so I have to actively remind myself to branch out a little bit from my regular style.
I love the wide leg and high neck detail. I know floral is already a Spring staple, but I think this little number puts a different spin on things seeing as it’s black. I of course paired it with my all time favorite espadrille wedges and Kate Spade purse for a perfect ‘night on the town’ look.
A few weekends ago the hubs took me to see Get Out (my first movie in theaters in almost a year BTW… mom life) and it was SO GOOD! Seriously kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. It was so awesome to get a little date night with my hubs since my mom was in town to watch our babe. It can be difficult living so far from our family, but luckily my mom comes out to visit us lot’s and always offers to take Kai while we have a little time to ourselves. She’s an angel that one. We also went to get Sushi, after a trip home to feed the baby and get him to sleep, then went and played pool at a bar around the corner. I love that we live close to so many fun things to do. It makes it really nice with a little one at home. I always feel better that we’re only 15 minutes away should a problem arise.
