As the seasons start to change, so does the fashion and Springs hottest trends are absolutely KILLER this year. There are so many fun looks going around that I can’t wait to rock. If I had to use one word to describe all of them i’d say VIBRANT! Let’s chat about them shall we?!
Embroidery- Specifically floral embroidery. It’s such a fun take on Spring florals! This trend definitely speaks to my old soul. I love the 70’s fashion era and all of the gorgeous embroidered ensembles floating around are life! I hope this one sticks around for a long time.
PomPoms- One of my absolute favorite trends right now. But you have to be careful with this one. Too many pompoms and you’ll look like you got stuck in a craft store for too long haha! These are just meant to be accents to add some fun detail to your outfit, so as long as you don’t go overboard, you will kill it.
Ruffles- I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again; GIVE ME ALL THE RUFFLES! I love them. They are so feminine and pretty and add the perfect amount of texture to your outfit. I’m especially loving ruffle sleeves lately. Sometimes they can make your arms look bigger though, so finding the right ruffled piece can be a challenge.
Slides- SO MUCH YES! I’m especially obsessing over the loafer slides (Kristin Cavallari’s are unreal) because they give such a polished/ professional look, but also can be dressed down. I’m having a hard time finding them in stores and am too nervous to buy some online since I’m not sure how they’ll fit. So the search continues.
Denim skirts- 2007 called, and they said they’re bringing denim mini skirts back again! FINALLY. I know you all wore your jean skirts with uggs back in middle school like I did lol. Those were the days! Even though I won’t be wearing mine with Ugg boots this time around, I am for sure going to be seen rocking this trend! I just bought this one at Target and can’t wait to wear it.
Distressed clothing- Your grandmother wouldn’t approve but I sure as hell do! I over-wear my distressed sweatshirt from Express and I am currently trying not to buy all of my clothing with holes in it haha. This is a really fun trend and one that I’m sure will stay around all Spring and Summer long.
