Hi babes!

Since I’m pretty sure I’m married to the hardest person on the planet to shop for, I thought I’d put together a little gift guide to help my fellow sista’s out. I KNOW THE STRUGGLE YA’LL! In a way, I think it’s awesome that my guy is so laid back he doesn’t care what I get him, or if I get him anything at all for that matter, but at the same time it’d save a lot of freaking time if he would give me some ideas! So instead of stressing out about what I think he’ll like, I decided that I’m just going to buy him the things I like lol. I mean, I feel like that’s all I can do at this point!

I tried to pick items at all price points because in my opinion, Valentines Day is kind of a grey area on what to spend on your S.O. Some couples go all out, and some stay conservative. For holidays, we personally like to spend more on experiences rather than gifts. So we usually get one another a little gift, then have a fun date or mini getaway! Last Valentines Day we had just gotten home from a cruise with our best friends so we were both SO tired I think we just stayed in and watched movies lol. I was also pregnant last year (so crazy) and that adds like 100x more grogginess to my life.

Since we have baby Kai now, I want to start some fun traditions for holidays with him. Growing up my mom always made holidays so much fun and I want to do the same for my little family. I remember she always got us a little heart shaped box of chocolates and a card! It was so fun to wake up to it on Valentines Day. Do you have any traditions for February 14th? I’d love to hear ’em!
