Good morning,
I am so excited to finally share the rest of this shoot with you all. Obviously you can’t tell in the pictures, but there was a lot going on behind the scenes. We were shooting in downtown Stockton, which is known for it’s ghetto-ness character… and it was nuts. First, a homeless man made fun of my pretend modeling poses, then a car full of construction worker looking dudes cat-called at me while I stood in the center median for a shot, and lastly I ended up loosing my favorite sunglasses (again -___-) when I set them down in a plant for a second. I actually went back for them a few days later when I finally realized where I had left them, but sadly they were gone. Even though there was so much chaos, Karen somehow managed to get some amazing photos. She’s a wizard I tell ya!
Now onto outfit details! I found this bomber jacket while I was walking around TJ Maxx trying to get my baby to fall asleep. Sometimes when Kai is fussy and I need to get out of the house, we wander around stores. Usually it’s target, but I do love a good TJ’s trip. The only downside is it’s either hit or miss. Some days you find so many amazing things, and others you leave empty handed. The shopping gods aren’t always smiling on that store. So even though I couldn’t find it online, I still linked a similar one below in my outfit details.
I am starting to get a little embarrassed about how much I blog about and actually wear this tank top. But I guess that’s the thing with blogging, it makes you realize a lot of things you probably would have missed before. I seriously love it though. It’s so flowy and flattering and goes with EVERYTHING in my closet. I won’t even tell you how many colors I own it in because I’ve hit my embarrassment quota for the day. On to the next!
This skirt! I found it at Nordstrom Rack (another hit or miss store) and unfortunately can’t find it online, but don’t fret because I linked a dang near identical one below with the rest of my outfit. It is the same story for these booties too. Sorry guys, I’m usually better about linking my exact items but not this time. Forgive me!
