Benefits vary by location, but in our zip code we receive free unlimited delivery with a $35 minimum (some restrictions apply), member prices on fuel that save us 5 cents per gallon of gas at Walmart and Murphy gas stations, and the ability to check out with mobile scan and go using our phones when we shop in-store which is my personal favorite! I just scan as I shop and the check out process is completely contactless. It saves so much time! October is one of the busiest time of the year for my business getting holiday content ready to go, fitting in all my favorite Halloween festivities, and this year we’re also getting everything ready for baby boy to arrive! Its a crazy time of year so we love the free unlimited delivery ($35 minimum, restrictions) on groceries (and more) with our Walmart+ membership. Before trick or treating every year we have a festive dinner called spooky spaghetti. We all look forward to enjoying a fun and yummy dinner before hitting the streets with Kai. The day has finally come to announce, even though we’ve wanted to shout it from the rooftops ever since I saw that positive pregnancy test back in June! To say we are excited for baby #2 is a HUGE understatement. After actively trying for about a year, our prayers have been answered and our family growing in February 2021! I even had to change my first fertility appointment to our first baby check up! I’ll share a first trimester recap here soon, but these announcement photos needed their own post because Lizzy of @lizzyography knocked it out of the park. She captured the tiniest details I will cherish forever, as well as how imperfect and silly our little family is. I couldn’t have asked for more! Thank you in advance for all the love on our exciting news! Also- full disclosure I haven’t really “popped” yet. Even though lets be honest, I haven’t had a flat tummy since the 9th grade haha! I’m definitely pushing out the bloat/ bump for one main reason. We’re having a winter baby, and I just can’t see myself waddling out in the snow for maternity photos lol, so this is it! Just as soon as you think you’ve got parenting kind of figured out, your sweet baby enters a new stage, and you find yourself trying to navigate through it all over again! My latest lesson has been potty training, and Walmart has helped ease the transition. They are celebrating 20 years of their exclusive brand ‘Parents Choice’ which I have purchased countless times, so I’m highlighting my faves! When my husband and I decided Kai was ready to start potty training, we wanted to get him super excited about it, so we went and bought a portable toilet that looked like a car, (his VERY favorite toy) thinking he would love it. Spoiler alert: he couldn’t have cared less about it. He wanted to go straight to the big potty, so we adapted to his needs with another trip to Walmart! We found a little cushioned potty seat insert that goes directly on the toilet and it worked well for us. We still kept the car potty just incase our next little one wants to start with that when the time comes. With Kai’s speech delay, we were a little worried that potty training would be unsuccessful, but to our surprise, he did so well! He was

There’s no better time to get your little one the essentials (you can find my post about breastfeeding must haves here). When you first get bring your baby home, it can be pretty overwhelming trying to figure out what you actually need, and what will just collect dust. One thing you should absolutely add your your MUST HAVE list is a great quality umbrella stroller! When baby gets a bit bigger, it’s so nice to be able to keep something light weight around to explore with your little sidekick.
